I can't believe I am a mother!
I am now a mother. I can't believe it myself! Since schooling days, practically every single person who knew me, will go, "You are so motherly. You will make a good mother!". I had no idea what that was all about. All I knew back then was, I get it all the time from every single person I know. In fact my husband, (then friend/boyfriend) told me the same thing. "You would make a great mother. Your future children are going to be very lucky to have a mother like you," he would say. Back then, I didn't even know that he would be the father! ;) Sometimes, I was perplexed by the comments. What exactly do these people mean? I mean, I looked young just like the rest of the girls my age. I definitely dress young, not matronly! Then, how come I kept on receiving comments that I look motherly?
