Autumnz 2-in-1 Baby Food Processor

Ever since I had a baby, I was eagerly waiting for her to start eating solid food.

I was too excited to feed her nutritious food because I wanted her to try every healthy food options that a baby can take. 

As babies her age should only be fed with finely pureed food, I was on the lookout for the perfect food processor that would be easy to handle and delivers good result.

I started surveying for the best baby blenders and among the blenders that caught my eye in the numerous baby fairs that I always end up in, was the Autumnz 2-in-1 Baby Food Processor.

Autumnz 2-in-1 Baby Food Processor instantly attracted me because it has two functions. It can steam and blend.

And there is no need for you to wait for the steamed food to cool before blending. Now, how cool is that? 

However, I kept my options open and was also checking out other food processors including hand blenders. 

This is because I was thinking the Autumnz 2-in-1 Baby Food Processor may be a great help in preparing baby food purees, but what will happen when my baby start eating normal food? I don't want to pack the food processor in a box and store it away after barely using it for 6 months.

On the other hand, if I bought a hand blender, I can always use it later when I am making soups and condiments. So, I was neither here or there in making deciding which food processor to buy.

When my baby was close to turning 6-months-old, I knew I had to get myself Autumnz 2-in-1 Baby Food Processor.

Why the sudden firm decision? Well, my husband changed my mind. LOL! 

"Why do you need to steam in one pot, wait for it to cool and blend it in another. You might as well do it all in one food processor and get it done and over with," he said.

Sometimes, you need your other half to put things in perspective for you. His words rang true in my ears. So, we got hold of one and oh boy, was it a good decision! 

We bought it in TCE Baby Expo in Mid Valley for a discounted price of RM130.00. I am not sure how much is the original price but checks in Lazada revealed that the blender can go up to RM250 without a discount. So, we were happy that we got a good bargain.

Inside is the food processor that has a double ended blade and a knob that can be adjusted to the steam function or blend function:


The maximum time that you can steam a particular food item is 30 minutes. You can adjust the timer to a shorter span of time if you want to. 

Among the first food that I steamed in the Autumnz 2-in-1 Baby Food Processor is pumpkins!

I chucked chopped pumpkins inside the blender and set the timer at 30 minutes. I pierced the steamed pumpkin with a fork and it was so tender. And I pulsed the pumpkin to a smooth puree. It was so easy!

Cleaning was a breeze too! I just dislodge the plastic canister and wash them in soapy water, dry them with paper towels and put them right back on their stand.

Another thing that I like about Autumnz 2-in-1 Baby Food Processor was the fact that it is compact, lightweight and portable. You can carry it with you when you are travelling and your baby will get the goodness of homemade food all the time.

Oh, and I am not going to store away the food processor once my baby starts eating normal food. I will use it to steam our food and perhaps keep it for my second baby!

It was definitely a good buy!

I can't believe I am a mother!

I am now a mother. I can't believe it myself! Since schooling days, practically every single person who knew me, will go, "You are so motherly. You will make a good mother!". I had no idea what that was all about. All I knew back then was, I get it all the time from every single person I know. In fact my husband, (then friend/boyfriend) told me the same thing.
